Falling Leaf
Inspired by the natural world, these beautiful chandeliers feature hand-formed brass leaves, available in a range of finishes from pure white to metallic copper and bright nickel.
We first designed the Falling Leaf design using high quality brass leaves, each electroplated with a lustrous bright copper or nickel finish on the outside face, and the inside powder coated in a crisp gloss white.
Since then, we have created many chandeliers with variations on this theme. Individual projects have been specified with just a gloss or matt white finish throughout; sometimes an arrangement with all leaves in bright copper electroplated on both surfaces, interspersed with the odd bright nickel highlight.
Each metal leaf has the ribs and veins hand-chased into the surface prior to electroplating, then each is bent by hand to form the organic shape. No two leaves are therefore identical. Typically, the leaves are created in three sizes, between 60mm and 160 mm in width, although we have made them much larger for specific projects.
